Match Report – 3rd XV 31 – 41 St. Andrews 3rd XV (25-2-15)
The first half started very poorly for Glasgow, St. Andrews dominated the scoreboard and ran in 4 unanswered tries before the break. The second half was a major turnaround, with John Willison grabbing the first try in the Glasgow fightback. Stuart Mulholland scored in the corner to reduce the deficit further. Fraser Waddell read the St. Andrews attack well to intercept a pass for the score. Further tries from Charlie Thompson and a second for Fraser Waddell at the death gave Glasgow a respectable 31 point tally, but leaky defence ultimately cost them as St. Andrews ran out 31-41 victors. The boys drop to 4th in the table, and will need to win their last two games to have any chance of promotion.
